Answers to last weeks trivia......
1-When there is 10 girls on the line-up card the girl batting is listed as the DP and the girl
playing in the field is listed as the Flex player...
2-In the 34 year history of the state tournament only 1 girl has thrown a perfect game and it
happened last year.....Ashley Holz of Oakfield did it against Thorp in the state championship
game.....21 up and 21 down.......Nobody reached base!!! And that is freshman pitcher that
accomplished that!!! WOW!! Her team helped out tremendously as she only registered 3
strikeouts.......That is great team defense!!
3-If a girls is caught batting out of order by the opposing team.......The girl that was
supposed to be in that spot takes over and also takes over the count where ever it may be!!
4-In 2008 our pals from Spring Valley broke our hearts twice....Both on Home runs!!
5-If we accomplish our ultimate goal that means that we would be taking 7 steps across
the diamond hand in hand!!

had a 7 run lead on this team early and found
themselves in a comfort zone.....The girls
from Onalaska however never gave up and
eventually tied and then went on to win the
game! Our young team got an intense post

coming back....Keep the pedal to the medal
