| Well.....You wanna know what really sucks? Of course you do......My computer has blown up! Not even a year old and the hard drive is gone......I lost a lot of stuff on there.....Tons of Softball stuff.......1 of the things that I lost was all of the birthdays that the girls wrote down for me......If you are reading this and you are one of the girls on the team please please send me and e-mail with your birthdays so I can post them! I have also lost over 50 videos of my children.......I am physically sick about that! Not much I can do about it now! As you all can see the new softball season is sneaking up on us we have just dropped under 100 days until we start! I am very excited about that! The new uniforms have been ordered.......The new head bands and stocking hats have been ordered..........The clinic in February has been organized........Mr. Haines and I will be attending the Minneapolis Clinic in a month......We do not have an assistant coach yet......(Hopefully soon).......The elementary and junior high dance is right around the corner! |
| The new name on the website will soon be pepinalmafastpitch.com. In the future when you go to ladylakerfastpitch.com it will automatically forward you to pepinalmafastpitch.com..........Within the next week we will have that done and up and running! Now that we are joining forces with Alma I will probably go and see if I can get some new sponsors from Alma for our poster! I would like to put a sound system onto the softball field in Alma so we have music like we do in Pepin and a PA system so that Steve (Harry Doyle) Wicklund can work his magic! I will have to see who I need to talk to from Alma to get permission to do all of these things. I am certain that Bob Major can steer me in the right direction on that! I hope we can get that done........Also it would be nice to have a flag installed on the field! |
| The answer to the trivia from before is......Tanya Newcomb, Ali Kircher and Laura Kosok......They all graduated in 1996 and they were all outfielders.......Tanya also did a lot of pitching! |
| Who is that young lady to the left with her glove on the ground? She just would not stay down on the ball that day.....We made her stary like that for about 5 minutes after the game that day just so she would remember what it is supposed to feel like! |
| It was a little warm that day in Menomonie. It was a fun tourney though as the ladies took 1st place after beating a team from St. Paul and Rochester MN.....It was the 3rd tourney of the year that Clutch Kujak and Sophia played in with us! |
| Well I have gotten my first response to my plea to get all the birthday dates back that I lost on my computer! HAP....HAP.....Happy Birthday to Morgyn Steinke! December 17th she will turn the old old age of 15! Sounds like she will be attending the River Falls clinic the 1st weekend of February......Good for her! All those clinics do is MAKE YOU BETTER! Thanks for asking me to find you a clinic Morgyn! Any of your buddies that are interested you could show them the brochure also! River Falls always puts on a good clinic........... |
